Hi guys! My name is Shirley. I am currently overseeing the youth ministry in Hope Church Singapore. I actually came to know God through this youth ministry myself and it has been 12 years of just being here and growing and serving the Lord. I actually first came when this youth ministry was overseen by Pastor Jeff – that was quite long ago.

Two Youth Services on Saturday

Currently, God has been graciously growing this ministry and we have about 800+ high school students and junior college students. We are meeting every Saturday: 12pm and 2:30pm. These are two services for teens from 12 all the way to 19 years old.

The vision of youth ministry

In this youth ministry, we are committed to build communities of transformed lives in every school in Singapore and all over the world. This is not just about building it big, but we want to build this ministry strong for Jesus as well. This is a huge task, but we believe that with the power of God with us, we will see this come to pass one day. And we hope that you too, will partner with us to reach this generation for Christ in your location and beyond.



"Unstoppable" Camp: The Church we are meant to be

I just want thank God that recently we had a wonderful time at our recent youth camp. It was called “Unstoppable: The Church we are meant to be”. We had about 720 campers over there and we really had a good time of just praising and worshipping Jesus and most importantly, receiving His Word and His vision into our hearts.

I think one thing that kind of like really touched me at camp was to see many young people giving their lives to Jesus, in a sense, like committing their entire lives not just to be Christian by name, but to really live a full-on and all out life for Jesus. I believe that this is a great stepping stone to seeing this youth ministry to a greater height; of seeing more new young leaders rising up and I am really excited about for what is to come.



End of year youth camp

At the end of the year, we have another exciting camp coming up from the 14th to the 17th of December, 2009. So we would really love for you to come and join us, or you can send your youth leaders to come and join us. You can even stay back for a couple of more days before that or after that so that we can do more training and learning together and we just really love to be able to serve other youth ministries in Hope churches all over the world.
