13TH MALAYSIAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

A Vibrant Community

Malaysian National Convention we had it in the heart of our capital in Putrajaya in a very fantastic place that God opened up for us miraculously. It was a capacity of 2800, but we had more than about 1800 people in all, so great time. The theme that we celebrated this year is a ‘Vibrant Community’. It’s taken from the teachings of ‘A Healthy Church’ so we built it as a vibrant and healthy community, to build a vibrant church and to build a vibrant community for the kingdom of God....

We have built it into together with planting the kingdom as well and with this entire teaching, we taught our people, challenged our people to be vibrant Christians and as people of God, with the spirit of God, with the word of God within us and living together as a community, we are challenged, taught to be a really healthy, vibrant community so that we can serve the Lord in the long term. We also challenged our people on various aspects: how to keep healthy, keeping healthy spiritually, what is the nutrition, what are the many health boosters that enable us to be healthy people.



International delegates

We had people from our international community that came to celebrate together with us as well. We had Pastor Jeffrey, he was our guest speaker and our people loved him.

He’s done very well and he brought his team of leaders also, who shared with him in the workshop, shared together with him in teaching some of those points and some of those principles to us. He was wonderful. We also had delegates: Peter came from Australia, our sister Jessica from Taipei; we also had brothers and sisters from Africa, and brothers and sisters from you know international community that were celebrating together with us. It was a great time and I think they felt very much the community of care, of love, of really blessing them as well.



Special events

It was terrific, we had mission night, we had celebration night, special theme night; it was wonderful, exciting time together. People are rejoicing, and they’re really touched and blessed, the presence of God is there.

We had fun things like an age network and trying to network different people together of different groups, our singles had time to mingle together; go around a tour around this place, which is a very significant place with many, many nice buildings and scenic views as well.

Reaching out to the world

Finally we ended up with a challenge also to tell our people going out to the community. To be vibrant people in our job, in our family, in our studies, in whichever place that God sends us to.

[Those who were] going back to various places all around Malaysia: to be able to be a vibrant people, relevant where they are so that God can really use them.



It’s been a wonderful time, a feast of celebration together, a feast of learning the word of God together as well and a feast to be able to bless each other, more than just our community, into the community of the Malaysian community.

A Vibrant Community for Jesus

So brothers and sisters, we want to encourage you right around the world also, in this theme that we are learning, we want to encourage everyone: be a vibrant community for Jesus.

To be vibrant means we have life within us, we have energy with us, we have enthusiasm within us and we are an influential people with the kind of life that God gives to us. So we really want to encourage you to be a people that follows according to what God says, be the people with the life of God within us so that we can build his church, build his kingdom and be a people that will impact around Malaysia and around the world.



Join us for 14th MNC 2009

We would like to invite you for the Convention, 2009; it will be held in Kuala Lumpur. It would be on the third to the sixth of December,

And at the moment, we are planning to have it open so that many people can come and it’s open together with the Leader’s Conference, 2009. Third to the sixth of December, keep that date, watch out for the cheap airlines and you know the airlines that can fly us here cheaply. Come and celebrate together with us, we expect at least over 2000 people in a wonderful locality where you will feel the presence of God and enjoy the things going around also.
