HOPE BANGKOK WORSHIP MINISTRY

TRUE LOVE CONCERT in
Hope of Pisanuloke Church

By
True Love Band

This is the third trip that we’ve made for a special mission. Our team consists of people who have a burden to outreach to people through music concerts. We want to reach out to more people and help the local churches hold special events, to draw people to God through our music and songs. We gathered under the True Love Company which was established by brothers Kelvin and B.

They joined our professional group and the Hope of Bangkok worship team and with their love for God and worshipping him; they formed a team for this special mission.

Whenever we do outreach services, the team is as equally encouraged as the brothers and sisters in the churches they visit. It makes life more meaningful that we know that God can use us as an instrument to bless others. God can use any person that has a heart for Him to move this world and do great things for God.

For this trip, the team of nine people prepared well. Our first mission was to hold an outreach event at Narasuan University to draw people to join our big event which was being held on Saturday. This big event was held at Hope of God Pisanuloke. The outreach event was great with lots of fun and full of meaningful moments. Our church members came along to join the festivities and their presence added more colour to the atmosphere. Ps Athiwat Teejumpa, head of the worship team at Hope Pisauloke church helped to arrange everything that we needed.

On the first night over dinner, Ps Athiwat (his nickname is Ps Thoe) shared to us about his vision for the worship team. He has lived a sacrificial life and has a genuine heart for God. He said he is willing to pay the price to serve God in this ministry. Ps Thoe wants to be the main pilar for God’s work in this area to support his church. All of us were encouraged as we saw that God has called and appointed so many more people to move this world together with us. We weren’t just full from the physical food; our souls also received spiritual nourishment. Thank God for everything that we can feel and see with our own eyes and ears. How I wish that all of us can have the same heart to serve Him more. After a very long meeting that lasted til 2am, we were all exhausted and got some rest to be prepared for the big day.

We got up early on Saturday morning with excitement and enthusiasm. We arrived at church early since we were located quite close to the venue. As we walked through the congregation, we started to feel the excitement because we saw that a lot of people who were so excited of being part of this big event. Also the crowd didn’t just consist of our people; there were brothers and sisters from four or five nearby churches in the province that joined us. The event started at about 10:30am with six secular songs. Brother James led the whole first session and as he finished, the congregation wanted more before brother Tony and sister Jew took their turns. We ended with worship songs. God truly moved in the congregation from the very first song. Everything flowed smoothly, something that is truly for God.

We were totally unprepared for that, but by His Spirit and through his grace, we could really see God move in our midst. Tony shared his testimony about his mum’s illness and how God healed her and challenged people to receive His love.

Finally, Ps Thoe took over and led people to their first prayer. We could see many people come forward to receive salvation and those who were weak being strengthen and renewed. Thank God for His great work.

This mission was a very successful and blessed trip. God is with us to enable us to do anything for Him and His glory. He is our wonderful Counsellor from the very beginning til the end. May the Lord bless every person who attended our big event continue to grow in His love and grace. May He bless you too!
