HOPE LONDON WOMEN'S CONFERENCE
We had our first ever women's conference in November last year. Women from all walks of life attended the event in
They spoke on topics relating to women's identity: "What mirror are you using?", and the potential of women: "Being a Woman, being a Hero". The evening ended with an interview about the life of Stefanie and our very own spiritual mum: Kim.
Five workshops were available covering important topics such as boy-girl relationships, overcoming bad habits, time management, mothers in ministry etc.
We connected to each other on a deeper level through sharing our praise reports (testimonies) which were given by women from all walks of life! It was faith building to hear how God took these women through their journeys of death, fear, and misplaced romance; and the discovery of their God given identity, worth and purpose!
The event was organised by women for women and for the first time, our worship was led by an all women's team! Go girls!!!
Needless to say that it was a wonderful event which we look forward to repeating in 2008!
EUROPEAN CARE GROUP: OMG
In summer 2006, God prompted in our hearts to start a new care group for Europeans! In prayer, we surrendered our timidity and fear and God encouraged us with passages of revelation of the potential of this group.
He brought in the right helpers at the right time. God brought friends from our work, salsa group; he even brought in people to us through the church website and on the streets! The group started with two girls, Jo and Becky, and has now grown to a core team of six members and up to 15 visitors, amongst whom two are new believers!
Praise God for His faithfulness that we have made many close friendships with all these precious souls! We look forward for another year of great harvest and we pray that you too, are encouraged to go out there and pioneer for Him! "Oh My God" - He's soooo good!!! Check out our
