HOPE BRISBANE 14TH ANNIVERSARY
We celebrated our 14th anniversary on the 16th of September with the theme “Community of Faith”. The theme is based on the conviction that God is building our church into a community of faith. A Community Church
God is building this church into a community of faith. We believe that we are more than a church that gathers together. Hope Brisbane is a community; a family of believers who share the same journey with God.
It’s a place where real life happens, where real challenges are faced and where real faith is revealed. A community that share its joys and sorrows, its triumphs and setbacks, and through it all, a faith that stands firm in God. How wonderful it is to be part of a loving and life-giving community; whose very life pulses with the life of God.

Impacting the communities
We have been so blessed to have played a part in this growing and maturing community that God is shaping for His glory.
With each passing year, we see the blossoming of our community in its divine calling and this is evident in the increasing impact we are having in surrounding communities and beyond. This is reflected in the testimonies of lives touched by God-inspired love and generosity, of peoples blessed through our investment into the surrounding communities and the increasing fruit of our missions efforts within
God has great plans for our community. As we respond in faith and continue stepping forth with courage, God's purposes will come to pass. We believe that even as we grow bigger, God wants us to grow stronger together in our life groups that we may do life together and experience life together; God's way.
Salt and light to the world
We believe that God desires us to grow together with excellence in all our ministries and through it all to convey the very heartbeat of God. We believe that this community will grow and branch out to different localities throughout
We believe that this community will be a salt and light to the world around, simply because the love and power of God overflows from within.
Over 700 people at the celebration
It was a wonderful joyous celebration and many were touched. Over 700 people attended our celebration of exuberant worship, lively dance and faith-inspiring testimonies. We had three sets of testimonies centred on our pioneering the Gold Coast centre,
I shared a message from my heart by expounding 1 Thessalonians 1:3-8 with the same theme as the anniversary. The church was exalted to be a community of productive faith, valiant faith and influential faith.
Through this anniversary, we were reminded again of God's goodness and His grace that has kept us in the last 14 years and will keep us for the years ahead. To God be the glory.
