ABLAZE SERVICE 2ND ANNIVERSARY
What do you get when you mix balloons, game consoles and more than a 100 young people waiting for God to move in an auditorium at Griffith University? You have Ablaze Service’s second anniversary. It was action packed from the get go.

Outside, there was an art corner where visitors and regulars could show off their artistic talents. Inside, it was human rush hour with the logistics, PA, foyer, visuals, praise and worship teams working together.

Finally the anniversary kicked off with a moving rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’. A quick change in tempo followed with the Ablaze dancers putting a pulsating performance. Then Ablaze got in touch with its inner computer geek with a wii performance to help break the ice. The prize on offer: a hot dog maker.

A group interview was next where key people at different stages in Ablaze’s history shared their own story: from the very beginning to the future were interviewed about how God moved in their lives. The sermon by Torchie was titled ‘Tomorrow: Believe the Unbelievable’. He shared the key ingredients in making the unbelievable a reality: vision, passion and determination. Global impact was the message as Torchie spurred every single person in the room to be a Youth for the Great Commission which is in our very heartbeat.
ABLAZE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL (AMI) has been running with a God-given Purpose, Global Vision and Great Mission to fulfill. We exist to lead young people to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ through a discipleship process where people are facilitated to live for God, serve in the community and be God’s influence in the world.

Torchie’s last words challenged the people to go deeper in their commitment to God and to the AMI ministry motto which is “Building Today’s Youth, Leaders of the Next Generation”.
The experience ended with a mass stream of confetti as we ended up with an energetic praise and worship session. As people left the auditorium, young people from all walks of life were fired up with the vision, passion and determination to make a difference in their worlds. We look forward to an even bigger and better Ablaze Service anniversary in 2010!

It is our pleasure to invite all youth and young adults to our annual Ablaze premier event. This year we have decided to change its name from Ablaze Camp to ‘Ablaze Conference!’ It is our belief that God is taking us to a greater height and further ahead in our ministry.
We’ve entitled our very first conference, FUTURE, which falls in line with the prophetic words we have received over the course of last year. We believe that God will continue to lead and guide us into the many greater things He has in store for all of us in the FUTURE.

To make this year’s conference very…very special, we have two special speakers joining us! You guessed it, Pastor Shirls from Y-Hope (Singapore) is back with her team to minister and challenge us to dig deeper into God! Apart from our international speaker, we’ll also have Pastor Ben Windle from Lifeplace (Brisbane) join us. After speaking at our camp 5 years ago, he’s back to bless our socks off.

Look forward to hosting you all at FUTURE 2009.
Believing in God’s BEST for you.
