MOVING FORWARD IN THE VISION
[Hope Lima, Peru 5th Church Anniversary - Hope Singapore Missions Dept]
Dear brothers and sisters,
Happy New Year! This is a new year, a new beginning and we are starting a new year and a new chapter. I really want to pray that God will give you a wonderful year ahead. I hope that God will be with you, the Holy Spirit will be with you. We are planning to have a strong year; we are planning to have a wonderful year where we believe that we will strengthen what we have already accomplished.
Expecting God for a great year
I want to greet you in the name of Jesus that this year will be indeed a strong and a wonderful year where by our church; our people will grow, be strengthened and we will be able to plant new churches in our mission field as well. We are indeed glad that God has done much in our movement and we continue to believe Him that great things will continue to be done this year as well.
The LORD has done great things for us,and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3

Committed to building biblical churches
We are facing a very unusual situation in our movement and we have made some clear decisions and we have contemplated, considered, prayed hard and the international leaders have come together and we are forging a new direction with regards to how we want to move forward.
As some of you may have already known, we are facing a situation where we are leaving behind the old, and moving onto a new chapter in Hope of God International. I want to assure each and every one of you that we are totally committed to the vision of the Great Commission.
We are totally committed to building strong and biblical churches and we are totally committed to be able to move forward in love and unity together.
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Matthew 16:18

Praying together as a family
I encourage us all to continue to pray. Pray for your pastors, pray for your leaders so that they will be able to move together, they will be able to seek God, they will be able to take this vision and move on to the next phase of what we want to accomplish together.
We believe that in the years to come, we will be able to move ahead and still continue to plant churches and continue to grow our local and regional churches as well. We invite you to pray together along with us. We are facing some serious decisions where we want to look at making changes to our governance, make changes to the way we are doing things and we want to go back to the Bible and go back as a team to look at how we are going to advance together forward.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Eph 6:18

Empower by the Holy Spirit
There will be changes, decisions will be made as to how we can improve and strengthen governance, accountability, situations where by we need to further strengthen how we have been doing things - maybe even make changes to the way we do things as well.
So dear brothers and sisters, we really want to encourage you all, not to lose heart, not to be discouraged about what has happened. Our God is still on the throne, Jesus is still the head of the Church, and we really believe that we want to move forward with Him. The Holy Spirit will continue to empower us; the Word of God will still be our foundation. We will be committed to this entire structure, framework of what we have set and our foundation remains firm in Christ, firm on the Word of God, firm that the Holy Spirit will anoint us and empower us to finish the task in our lifetime.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Looking toward the future
So my dear brothers and sisters, I invite you again, this is a time of serious warfare, a time where we are not yielding to the enemy, we are not yielding to discouragement and we are looking ahead, not backwards.
We want to look forward, look at what we can do to build strongly for the Kingdom of God and for the church as well. So we encourage you to unite with your pastors. If there are any situations causing you uncertainty, confusion, discouragement, go to your leaders, go to your pastors. They will be able to lead us; they will be able to help us into the new direction and into making that turn into a new beginning.
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Phil 3:14

Unity in love and vision
We believe that the Lord is with us and we want to remain and stay united to serve God in this entire vision in our lifetime.
Thank you very much, continue to pray along with us and keep your ears and eyes on the magazines, on the news, on things we are going to continue to communicate with each one of you.
Thank you. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
