Vision of HopeKids Ministries

HopeKids Ministries have a vision to see the renewal of our spiritual generation to fulfill the great commission. We believe it is one thing to look for leaders for the great commission but it’s another to intentionally build them. Adolf Hilter and Osama bin Laden put effort to set up youth organizations. They get it. Great institutions, businesses and even sports clubs today get it. The foundation of success is essentially in starting as young as possible. Even Jesus asked us to not to hinder children but let them come to him. Jesus got it … all because the Father made it; Children’s ministry!

"Every members are serving in a ministry. Our care groups are growing, activities are vibrant and fellowship is great. Church life is sweet and things are happening. Now that could be the wonderful picture of our church today. But what about in 10 to 15 years time? How will our church look like? Who will be championing it? I believe that children ministry is like ripple that make the biggest Difference. "

Children’s ministry is important because it is ministry to people during an incredible short but critical phase of life. The opportunity to impact children at the youngest age is that window of time where hearts are receptive and minds, greatly moldable. If we can shape the hearts and minds of children within this short time, we can shape the future of our church. If we don’t act now, the world would and if we don’t, the window can be shut from us forever.

For that reason, HopeKids Ministries has been investing in a mission to build a community to.. (L-C-D)
  • L-ead kids to Christ.
  • C-onnect them to church and
  • D-isciple them to be fully devoted to God

To lead kids to Christ, we position our ministry not for child minding but for growth. We run events during outreach seasons and run an annual Holiday Club ensure a strong outreach momentum. Every Sunday, we not only expect visitors to turn up but for them to respond to Christ as well. We ensure we are leading kids to Christ in every manner.

To connect kids, we cannot operate such as children come to church once, maybe accept Christ and not come back the following week. They need to be connected to church where regular discipleship can happen. We ensure our team is not a group of loosely linked volunteers but a closely knitted community to connect them into. A busing ministry ensures not just children from Christians families come to church but kids from non-Christian households can do so without their parents as well. We are glad that today we are seeing kids come first before their parents.

To disciple them to be fully devoted to God, we maximize our time on Sunday to run not just the big group programme but small groups as well. Our half an hour care groups maximize connection and discipleship time of our kids with their leaders. Shepherds and sheeps are carefully matched to enhance nurture and discipleship.

Our (L-C-D) mission displays the clarity of our vision. If we do them well, our vision to see the renewal of the spiritual generation can be realized. In 20 years, our present leadership will be at age ripe for renewal and to ensure the continuation of the Great Commission until its completion, our children should be taking hold and championing the church.

Children are never seen as liabilities but they are comrades, owners and an extension of our selves in our vision to fulfill the great commission in our lifetime.

Every child that leaves our ministry move on to the next phase of church life as a ripple that will create a wave of renewal for the future. It may be small but we believe it will make the biggest difference in God’s vision to win the world.

We hope for more to join us locally and internationally as we serve together towards the renewal of our spiritual generation to the fulfillment of the Great commission all over the world.
