Hi, my name is Arlene and I am the pastor of Hope Hong Kong with my husband Pastor Gavin. It is our privilege to share with you what the Lord is doing with our ministry in Hope of God Hong Kong church.

Vision for the nations
Actually, we started our ministry 16 years ago with only person; that was me. The Lord provided me with a very good husband: Pastor Gavin.

Together we pioneered youth groups and reached out to lives in Hong Kong. At the moment, we have two Thai services on Sunday, one Filipino service on Sunday and two Cantonese services and with one youth service on Saturday. So you can see that the lifestyle in Hong Kong is very busy, but we really thank God for this mission of God that really captured our hearts. That our people, our professionals, our youth, our families are going out everywhere to bring people to Christ.

Reaping the Harvest

Last year in 2007, we managed, by God’s grace, to break 502 last year and each Sunday we see conversion after conversion. We had 333 new converts last year and one of the tremendous blessings is that the Lord has used our church to reach out to society to be the salt and light.

The Deaf Ministry

We started a deaf group, starting with one key person in January 2007. At the end of 2007, we had over 30 people forming one strong unit. Deaf people received Christ using sign language and when they sing songs, they use their body language to worship the Lord.

In this picture, the “God Hearing” group doing a sign language which means "I love you!" This picture was taken at Purple’s house during the Lunar New Year of 2008. There are three hearing leaders (Purple, Janice Tam and Eddy Kow) serving in this ministry.

Visions for 2008

So it’s leading to something very amazing happening in the beginning of 2008 as Pastor Gavin declared, it is the year of double blessing. We see God open the doors for us to venture into new worlds, and not only the deaf ministry. We are going to move into a bigger place, double the capacity of the current place, with the same rent. We are going to seek God using the youth as a young generation to reach out to many people and we also organise trips every weekend to go to the Promised Land to reach out to the people there.

Pioneering International Fellowship

So if you are interested, please do come to join with us in September this year. We are going to have a leader’s meeting in Hong Kong.

Most importantly, if you have a burden reaching out to the people in the world, please come to Hong Kong because we would like to start our IF (International Fellowship) and we need Australians and we need Africans to come over to join with us and to shake this land for God. The vision the Lord has given me personally is one million sheep Christ. Please join with us. Together we shall shake the kingdom and we shall advance God’s kingdom together. See you, bye! HOPE TOKYO, JAPAN: CHURCH PLANTING

Hello everyone, I am Masami, from Hope Tokyo in Japan. I started Hope Tokyo church in the year 2000. God called me and God gave me a vision to pioneer the church in Tokyo. I was saved in Seattle, Washington. While I was studying there and I got a vision that we need the church, the Hope church in Japan to preach the gospel and to share the love of God.

I took that calling and the vision to step out in faith to go back to my home county to plant a church in 2000, and God has been faithful to us.

God is adding more people, adding good people, quality people, we have a good core team until now.

New Church Venue

We got a good venue last year, a bigger venue, and God always blesses us and provides for all our needs.

Last year I married my wonderful husband, and now we are leading a church together and we keep the vision together, also having a pioneering spirit and a mission spirit together.

Pioneering a new church in Yokohama

We would like to pioneer the new church in the next city which is Yokohama...

since last year, we have been really preparing the ground, by doing an outreach event in every quarter, we are going there to do outreach and we started to see a lot of people, a lot of non believing friends that are coming to join us.

And so we would like to really focus to pioneer this new city next year so we are preparing this year to raise new leaders and the momentum of mission, the mission of a pioneering spirit for our church as well.

Take up the vision for God

So I would like to challenge you to also take the vision to go out and step out in Faith and God will bless you and provide all your needs and you will start to see all the miracles, the power of God is in you, and in your church as well.

HOPE TAIPEI, TAIWAN

Hi I’ m Jessica, I’ m the pastor of Hope Taipei, Hope Taipei started in 1996, February so we are going to celebrate our 12^th anniversary this year.

God really has blessed us so much in my life and also in the church in the past 12 years.

New Church Venue

God blessed us with a bunch of people who are really willing to serve God whole heartedly, I really Thank God, last November we just moved to a new venue, and this new venue can accommodate more than 100 people.

So we are praying that we can have a spiritual revival in the year of 2008, if you haven’t visit us, we welcome you to visit us in Taipei!
