NEW CONNECT JOURNAL: GENESIS

Did you ever wish for some kind of help to improve the consistency and quality of your friend’s or mentoree’s devotional time? Or perhaps your own?

The answer is the CONNECT spiritual journal. A spiritual journal like no other. It is a devotional journal, a prayer journal and personal growth journal all rolled into one. The devotional journal is uniquely designed to cater for varying needs. It provides 3 different yet related questions to prompt the reader deeper into God, or the Word or in discipleship. And the flavour is uniquely Hope.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

What better way than to use this journal to help our care group members grow by themselves?

The latest offering is from Genesis. It will draw us to return to the beginnings, to the original pattern. It will help us get in touch with the core values, attitudes, perspectives and spirit that gives our Hope movement is distinctly flavour.

Coming soon in March!

Make sure you request your church to order copies for you now.

An Overview on the Book of Genesis

Many a company or organisation have started with a vibrant sense of mission, but along the way gotten distracted and slowly wandered from its orginal course....

Continual effort and re-evaluation of our mission statement, desired goals and actual results will help us know if we have achieved what we set out to do in the first place. Therefore it is significant that the book of Genesis is a book about origins and beginnings.

Genesis largely contains the blueprint for all New Testament doctrines. As we review this book, we must trust God to help us return to the basics; back to the original pattern He desires for our lives, our church and our world.

  • May God help us get back in touch with the core values, attitudes, ways of thinking and the right spirit that gave the Hope Movement our distinct flavour in the past.
  • May God’s Word in Genesis lead to greater clarity and encouragement for the future as well.
  • May His revival enable us to obay us to obey His commands and fulfil our mission to build strong and biblical people and churches.
We ask Him to help us let go of unnecessary traditions or baggage we have collected along the way.

Also, as society’s values and moral standards become increasingly ungodly and as Satanic forces seek to erode the foundation of His church, may God restore us by impregnating His values in us and give us a fresh passion for godly living through the book of Genesis.
