HOPE MALAYSIA: A PROPHETIC CHURCH



Our God has certainly spoken powerfully and clearly during the Bible Conference called " Our God Speaks" in Kuala Lumpur and Kuching.

After fasting and praying in preparation, more than 500 people packed Hope PJ eagerly waiting to hear from God. Besides our KL churches, delegates from Penang, Teluk Intan, Mentakab, Ipoh, Kuantan, East Malaysia, Singapore and even Timor Leste and Myanmar attended the conference. The delegation certainly came from near and far!

We were privileged and blessed to have Ps Kirk Duncan, aged 71, who hails from Canada with 40 years of prophetic ministry experience speak at our conference. An anointed speaker, he delivered words of knowledge and prophecy accurate to more than 60 people.

Ps Kirk and Ps Simon both taught with wisdom and anointing on how, and what God communicates through His prophets and prophecies. During this conference, the delegates also learnt about how to discern and respond to the prophecies that were given. At the end of the conference, the pastors also prayed for those who desired or recognised a prophetic calling in their lives; for a greater release of this gifting to bless the church.

Ps Kirk Duncan ministered to the many of the leaders from the different centres locally and nationally; and not forgetting the pastors as well. Tears flowed freely as different ones were challenged and convicted during the presbytery sessions. There were words of warning and caution, words of affirmation and assurance, and words of healing and restoration.

God came to meet with us as He showed how He truly cares by speaking so precisely into the individuals’ lives. Many were assured, affirmed and strengthened as the Word of God pierced their hearts like a double edged sword throughout the conference. On the final day, Ps Kirk Duncan also gave a timely and encouraging word for the church.

“A new wind is blowing. A fresh breeze is starting to happen. God is causing the waves to rise. The tides are starting to rise. God has purposed to bless this place. He will cause His glory to rest upon you and spring up from this place and go out to other places. I have purposed to increase because you are balanced and you serve God with zeal”.

Hallelujah – God is great! Indeed the church excitedly receives this promise by faith. Though not everyone managed to receive a direct word of prophecy, most were encouraged as they witnessed the strong presence of God in their midst. Indeed, our God still speaks. And now that He has spoken, it is the time for His people to respond and wait for God to bring His Word to pass.
