CELEBRATION OF HOPE 2007 : A PEACE-FILLED CHURCH

Celebration of Hope 2007 -
A Peace-filled Church

Thousands of people from Hope churches across Thailand and overseas gathered for an annual camp called ‘A Peace-filled Church’. The atmosphere was full of joy, love and peace from Jesus.

The opening ceremony

We all praised and worshipped Jesus with a united heart at the opening ceremony. The musicians, orchestra band, and dancers also praised and worshipped Godartedly. God spoke to us and filled us with an unspeakable joy and peace.

Camp Speakers

Pastor PN, Pastor Simon Eng, Pastor Somthob, Pastor Nimit and Pastor Sunee shared about the true meaning of peace in Jesus. True peace is not without problems, but confidence in the presence of Jesus in our lives. In addition, true peace is not generated from people nor is dependent on circumstances, but it is generated from a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ – the one who reconciled all men to God. Moreover, knowing God personally and trusting in His character also brings peace to one’s heart.

Pastor Jeffrey Chong (Hope Singapore) shared on “Forsaking our fear”, Pastor Ian Foley (Hope Meblourne) shared on “Find peace in Jesus”. Pastor Prayuth shared on “Biblical Approaches in Praising & Worshipping God”

Hope Games

The Hope Games was a great opportunity foster fun and friendship among Christians through playing games, sport and cheering on each other. Every game we played helped reinforce the importance of unity and relying on the power of God to achieve great things. Everyone was a winner and full of smiles.

Missions Night

Pastor PN shared a message entitled “Mission Possible” on Mission Night. He inspired everyone to get involved in missions by using their abilities, gifts and talents. We can be a “Goer”, “Supporter” or “Mobilizer” to make missions possible. The message really inspired members to go out and make disciples of all nations. Many people knelt down and offered their lives to the Lord responding to His call to fulfill the Great Commission.

Hope Family Night

It was a night to celebrate and renew the love and commitment of Hope Family. We thanked God for the church which is like a family of love, commitment, warmness, and friendship. Every heart was overwhelmed with gratitude for being part of Hope Family.

Closing Ceremony

The members were challenged by God to go out as a peacemaker / an instrument of peace. God desires for the church community to bring His true peace to all people across the world. The end result of receiving His true peace is to be a blessing for all nations and bringing people back to God who is the ONLY source of true peace.
